Education
In 2003 Maxim graduated from the Ural Law Institute. In 2007 he became PhD in law (tax field). In 2008 he obtained the Professional Certificate of Tax Consultant. In 2009 he joined the Russian Law Association.
Career
Before Duvernoix Legal Maxim worked as a tax consultant for several leading companies in Ekaterinburg and St. Petersburg. He has over 80 professional publications on current tax topics. Maxim joined Duvernoix Legal as a senior associate in 2012. Maxim has been the head of the tax practice at Duvernoix Legal since June 2015.
Publication
Maxim has more than 100 articles on topical issues of tax law, which are published in international media and authoritative Russian publications such as Forbes and Business Emirates. Every year, Maxim Simonov is invited to speak at leading international conferences on tax consulting.
