Lawyers of Duvernoix Legal closed a real estate transaction with a seller from Finland

Lawyers of Duvernoix Legal accompanied the transaction on the sale of a land plot in Leningrad region for individual housing construction for a Finnish citizen. The sale was on the verge of collapse due to the position of notaries and banks.

The difficulty was the ban for citizens from unfriendly countries to make transactions with real estate, introduced by presidential decrees after the start of the military operation in Ukraine.

However, at the time of documents registration, the Ministry of Finance made clarifications according to which residents can buy real estate from non-residents from unfriendly countries.
