Karina Epifantseva – the winner in the “Editor’s Choice” category of the “Best Lawyers 2020” rating

Karina Epifantseva, head of crisis management and bankruptcy practice, once again became the winner in the “Editor’s Choice” category of the “Best Lawyers 2020” rating. The difference between the “Editor’s Choice” nomination and all others is that the voting is carried out not by the lawyers but by the “DP” journalists.

Until recently, Duvernoix Legal did not have a separate bankruptcy practice; for 2 years of work at the company, Karina Epifantseva managed to organize it. "This is the goal I set for myself when I started working in this direction. Now my team leads about 20 projects, we have a pool of regular clients," says the winner of the nomination.

According to Karina Epifantseva, bankruptcy lawyers have seen a sharp upturn this year. "The past year was marked by a pandemic for everyone — the courts did not work, and economic activity significantly decreased. On the contrary, our staff has grown, and the volume of cases is growing as well. As our colleagues say, when everything is bad for everyone — we are on the rise," she says.
